CRUISE INFO
At the moment, we arrange cruises to the wonderful Bengtskär lighthouse as well as charter cruises from Hanko for both companies and individuals, max. for approx. 155 people. We have also done cruises to the fortress island of Russarö, but in the summer of 2024 there will not be any trips there, because the island is in the use of Finland’s defense forces.
BENGTSKÄR
SCHEDULE 2024
Daily departures from Hanko’s Itäsatama, Kuningatarvuori pier.
- Departure to Bengtskär at 11:00
- Bengtskär at 12:30 p.m
- Departure to Hanko at 15:00
- Arrive in Hanko at 16:30
Cruise duration approx. 5 h 30 min. The schedule is an estimation.
- The Bengtskär cruise has a weather reservation (strong wind/waves).
- The shipping company reserves the right to make changes regarding cruises, schedule, etc.
ARRIVAL IN PORT
WITH A CAR
There are two ways to get to the harbor with your own car:
- Esplanadi – turn onto Appelgrenintie (level crossing) – Korsmaninkatu – Satamakatu 4 – Graniittikaari. Follow the signs for Itäsatama and Kuningatarvuori laituri.
- Esplanadi – turn left over the railway bridge (Halmstadinkatu) – Nykanderinkatu – Satamakatu 4 – Graniittikaari
BY TRAIN
Hanko railway station is located approximately 1.5 km from the Bengtskär departure platform. The train arrives at Hanko station at 10:30 and you can walk briskly to get there on time. Go through the railway underpass and turn right onto Ratakatu. Walk to the beginning of Ratakatu-Vuorikatu-Kulmakatu and continue along the shore to the ship.
BY BUS
If you are coming with a group by bus, drive straight to Satamakatu 4. There are also parking spaces for the bus here for the day. You can see the parking area on the map.
I'M WALKING
If you stay overnight in Hanko, the best way to get to the port is by foot or by bike. From the hotels and villas in the center, it is a convenient walk to the Kuningatarvuori pier, our starting point.
TAXI
You can order a taxi from the numbers 0800 2120 (Menevä) and 0400 613 400 (Taxi Jessica). The taxi rank is behind the train station (facing the Esplanade).
